About
Max Max is a native New Orleanian whose work is inspired by the vivid colors, extraordinary textures, myriad shapes and architectural richesse of the city, as well as by his background in design,and building. An abstract expressionist, he incorporates these influences into his paintings in a non-representational manner. Using acrylic paints, he applies layers of deep color combined with a variety of metallic leaf, textures and glazes to create a diverse collection of contemporary pieces. His pieces are absolutely stunning and are collected locally, nationally and internationally as well as featured in numerous galleries,exhibitions and publications. |
