cast bronze desk set with two ink wells with round, hinged covers and four elevated pen cradles. The set also features an elongated oval pen and clip tray with floral, leaf, and scroll decorative detailing. The rear vertical piece is decorated with three different poses of seated scribe figures, flanked by two classical columns, the center figure is surmounted by a demi-lune shaped piece with a decorative classic laurel wreath detail. Bronze Church Collection Plate

The bronze collection plate features raised Gothic letter characters, now slightly worn down, in the lower level of the middle rim; larger scroll designs alternating with leaf motifs ornament the raised center section of the plate. The 16 1/4" diameter plate copies a 17th style and dates from the 19th century. A more recent bronze hanging hook has been attached to the back.
